Bachelors Walk was a comedy-drama based around three single men living in a house in Dublin’s Bachelors Walk. The sries was shot in and around Dublin. The programme was first broadcast on RTÉ on 1 October 2001. The drama revolves around Barry looking for a get-rich-quick scheme, Raymond the film critic and Michael the would-be barrister. After a run of three series and an absence for three years, "Bachelors Walk" concluded for a one-off Christmas special which aired on St. Stephen's Day 2006 on RTÉ Two.

Walker, Texas Ranger is an American television action crime drama series created by Leslie Greif and Paul Haggis, both starring Chuck Norris as a member of the Texas Ranger Division. The show aired on CBS in the spring of 1993, with the first season consisting of three pilot episodes. Eight full seasons followed with new episodes airing from September 25, 1993 to May 19, 2001 and reruns continuing on CBS until July 28, 2001. It was broadcast in over 100 countries, and has since spawned a made-for-television movie, entitled Trial By Fire. The movie ended on a cliffhanger, which, as of 2013, has not yet been resolved. DVD sets of all seasons have been released. At various times since 1997, reruns of the show have aired, in syndication, on the USA Network and Action in Canada. As of September 13, 2010, the series is shown on WGN America. The show was known for its moral values. For example, the characters refrained from the use of drugs, and they participated in community service. Martial arts were displayed prominently as the primary tool of law enforcement and occasionally as a tool for Walker and company to reach out to the community. The show has since become one of the most popular action shows in television history and has gained a cult following for its camp appeal.
Night Walk was the first in a short but frequently-repeated series of late-night television programs aired on Global Ontario from 1986 to 1993. Night Walk was basically a first-person view of a walk through the streets of Toronto during the late-night hours, including the sights and sounds of the scenery, accompanied by jazz music. It featured films taken from the vantage point of a person walking through the PATH, city streets and different buildings. Despite having a seven-year run on Global, only one episode of Night Walk was produced, and was repeated nightly during late-night hours as a subsititute for a test pattern. However, it would later be supplemented by similar programs such as Night Ride, featuring film of Toronto's streets and highways from the viewpoint of a person driving late at night; and Night Moves, which aired scenes of Toronto nightlife.

Six contestants work in two teams and have to complete games such as life-sized Jenga, as well as throwing spears at targets to reveal clues, which they then have to use to solve other puzzles. The game consists of 4 rounds: ⁕General knowledge. ⁕Physical. ⁕Outdoor. ⁕Relay - consisting of 3 tasks each performed by a different team member. The first show aired on 3 August 2005. The set weighs 70 tons. After 1 September 2005, the show was moved from its prime time slot at 1930 on Wednesdays to 1100 on Sundays, because of poor ratings.
Margaret Thatcher - The Long Walk to Finchley, subtitled in the initial credits How Maggie Might Have Done It, is a 2008 BBC Four television drama based on the early political career of the young Margaret Thatcher, from her attempts to gain a seat in Dartford in 1949 via invasion to her first successful campaign to win a parliamentary seat, Finchley, in 1959. It also portrays her early relationship and marriage with Denis Thatcher. It is directed by Niall MacCormick and written by Tony Saint - it was made by Great Meadows Productions. Thatcher is played by Andrea Riseborough, Denis by Rory Kinnear, and Edward Heath by Samuel West. It was followed in February 2009 by Margaret, a drama on Thatcher's fall from power filmed in 2008-09, with Thatcher played by Lindsay Duncan.
